Sunday Family Fun!

The boys LOVE to hold their sister. With this one we managed to get all the Weinberger men and the newest Weinberger little woman in one shot. Think everyone looks happy enough?!? What a lucky bunch we are!

Grandma came to town right before Ella was born and then managed to not only watch two crazy-active (lovable and wonderful, but crazy no doubt) boys but also found the time and energy (I have no idea where!) to polish our table and clean the dining room chairs (which really look gorgeous!). In spite of that, the boys opted to have their apple afternoon snack sitting UNDER the dining room table. Upside is the table and chairs will probably look nicer longer :-).

After taking a quick walk, we decided to sit out back and play on the climber for a bit. This shot of the boys chilling was too cute to pass up...

Apparently having seen is brother pull this move, Nathan was inspired. I think it is hilarious...Mr. Cool and Relaxed, indeed!!!

Family love. Not only does the President get ride-along protection, but apparently the big brothers are starting their protective services a bit young too, and taking them mighty seriously! And this is before she starts dating (or eating solid foods :-).

Ella's One Week Birthday!!

Ella is one week old today and with her Billirubin numbers headed in the right direction we all played hooky from the lights for 20 minutes and went out to see the real thing...what a gorgeous day in the sun!!

Here the boys are stalking our friends and neighbors. Waiting, waiting, waiting...and yes, they were rewarded with a Steven visit! We got to catch up with most of the neighborhood kids later in the day for some outdoor playtime--yea!! Let's hope spring has sprung!

Nathan checking out the shadows and looking oh-so-cute with his hair blowing in the wind (and contrary to public opinion, even though there is a girl in the family now, mom still does not want to cut his great locks!).

Little Ms. Ella getting her first time outdoors other than to go to the lab. I think she liked this brief escape a bit more than our girl trips to the lab for heel pricks-I know mommy did!

Matthew knows never to waste a beautiful day!

A great shot of Ella's first floor sleep space, right by the window, and her gorgeous new blanket from Nana and Pa (made by Mike's cousin Shari)! So cute!!!

A week's worth of fun!

Ready for anything...including a new sister...Nathan sports his Steeler pride and safety-consciousness in one go (and flair for total silliness :-)!

Three generations of the girls.

A close-up of the newest Weinberger. Ella has been sleeping lots as she tries to get her jaundice under control, but man is she cute while she does it!

Ella 3

Ella is now at home, and getting lots of attention from her big brothers.

Here are some pics of the boys getting to meet her at the hospital in the sun room.

As you can tell, someone is very happy to have Ella to play with.

Meeting Ella...

Matthew was very excited to meet his new little sister, and wanted to hold her. Nathan got a chance as well after requesting "me!" but it was a bit more brief...we'll look for photographic proof soon :-).

Grandma was a huge help, and had good timing coming in the Thursday before she was born.

Rare moment of calm, [when her brothers were not around]

Looking like the stylish little girl...already in pink!

Very First Pictures...Ella Sydney Weinberger

Here are the very first pictures of Ella Sydney Weinberger who arrived today (March 8th) at 2:06 pm weighing 8 pounds and 1 ounce. She is 20 inches long since she knows she has two big brothers to keep up with.

Here is a first shot of Ella with her adoring dad.

One of mommy and daughter.

The boys and grandma are coming over to visit soon, so we should have a plethora of photos pretty quickly.
