Crib, sharing, and a walking cast

We set up the crib for the baby girl to be. Both boys helped out a bunch, and when we were done Matthew wanted to fill it with some of his toys so she would have something to play with.

and things are back to normal... Matthew broke a bone in his foot wile playing, so we got a trip to the Hospital for some X-rays, then the ortho for a walking boot. Here is Matthew being fitted, not as stylish as Air Jordans, but what can you do.And here he is showing off, while Nathan appears to be jealous of his big brother and wants one of his own.

A true, true boy day! Mommy went to work in the city and the boys did what?!?! White Castle run with daddy and Uncle Tim...both boys were fans, but Nathan was up for posing....

Rather than having to go cold turkey, the boys were super-lucky (and their parents too) and we got to keep Uncle Tim for a few extra days...think the boys were excited?!?

So, here are the very cool street sweeper and dump truck that grandma and grandpa got the boys for Christmas. I am not sure that this is the way we thought they'd get used, but no real surprise there....looks like they might be happy, eh?

As you might imagine the boys liked their cool new toys, but what they really loved was hangin' with so much family....

December Excitement...

December started out, well, oddly. As you might notice from the fancy haircut, Winnie had an odd go of it...he ruptured two discs in his back and had back surgery. So that he did not hurt himself, and maybe, just maybe to protect him from the ever-helpful boys, Winnie gets to spend lots of quality time in the Pack 'n Play.

Okay, so not to imply that we have not had a TON of fun in the last month, or that there are not great pictures out there to share, but we had to skip to the playoffs for this entry.
